"Down Home Blues" on Pre-Grammy Nominations Ballot!
My first solo album, "Down Home Blues" from Chesky Records, has made the nominations ballot in the Traditional Blues category for next year's Grammy's! This doesn't mean I'm nominated but that I am in the running to become nominated! That's a nice compliment to be sure. We just have to hope that the Grammy voters will give it a listen!
The Barefoot Movement is busy working up new music! We also are recording a Christmas EP! We should have it out before this holiday season!! Stay tuned!
Happy Election Day!

Hillside Album Hour Recap!
I recently had the immense pleasure to join The Waybacks and a slew of other folks at Merlefest's annual Hillside Album Hour! The album of choice this year was "Eagles Greatest Hits" in honor of Glenn Frey and for anyone who knows me, so say I'm a giant Eagles fan is a massive understatement. So it was particularly special for me! The performance also featured clips of songs by other artists we have recently lost including David Bowie, Merle Haggard, Prince, Allen Toussaint, George Martin, BB King, Chris Squire of Yes, and Maurice White of Earth Wind and Fire. It was quite an emotional hour. The guys from The Waybacks are some of the most incredibly talented musicians I have ever worked with and I was in awe of their gifts. Also onstage at some point or another were John Oates, Jim Lauderdale, Sam Bush, Jens Kruger, Nicki Bluhm, Lindsay Lou (Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys), Jason Crosby, and James Nash, Chuck Hamilton, and Joe Kyle Jr. of The Waybacks. I'm a lucky gal. What an amazing time!!
My big moment at the end of Purple Rain! Haha!
Album releases, touring, Merlefest and more!
Hello all!
The Barefoot Movement and I have been keeping busy with our tour dates. Our new album, "Live in LA" will be released May 13th! It was produced by Chuck Plotkin (Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan) and Hank Linderman (Eagles, America) and has zero corrective editing. We've been sitting on this one for a while, so we're thrilled to finally have it available!
In the meantime, we'll be making our second appearance at the fabulous festival Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC. I am also so excited to have been asked to join The Waybacks, Nicki Bluhm, Lindsey Lou and several surprise guests at the Hillside Album Hour - one of Merlefest's most treasured annual events. As per tradition, the album will not be revealed till the show!
My solo record "Down Home Blues" also has an official release date! Look for it on June 24th! I'm currently putting together a mini-tour to celebrate the release that will reunite Ed Snodderly and myself for several dates! Stay tuned for details!

New solo record to debut in June!
Chesky Records will release my first solo album, "Down Home Blues" this June!
The new album features 15 classic American blues numbers, and one original song. The songs are supported by guitarist Ed Snodderly, mandolinist Tommy Norris, percussionist Chuck Palmer, and bassist Ariel De La Portilla. I'm very excited to see this project come to life!
I had previously worked with Chesky as a member of the "New Appalachians." Titled "From the Mountaintop," this record consisted of myself and many of other friends of folk music, playing a nice collection traditional tunes. The record was released To learn more about this record, head here: http://www.chesky.com/content/binaural-series.
Released in October of 2015, the album made it to number 13 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Charts. Here's a nice quote from the folks at The Audio Beat.
"Vocalist and fiddler Noah Wall's rendition of "Wayfaring Stranger" is natural, unadorned and bittersweet."
Check out the video below to get a feel for the record! And stay tuned for more info on the new release!
